Bring your stock dog for group lessons! All stock dog breeds are welcome, as well as all ages, very gentle dog broke sheep available for stock testing pups (fully vaccinated pups recommended). 16x16 pen and 50’ round pen available.
To be covered: firststock exposures for pups and unstarted dogs, commands, how to read your dogs body language, beginning steps to circling and driving, and general stock handling knowledge.
Rates:
$40 to participate in the group lesson, that includes instructed accessto stock with your dog, if a very green dog or very green handler is present and would like, I have finished dogs that will be available for you to work with instruction (only if you have a stock dog there to work). $20 stock fee per additional dog. $20 stock fee to use my stock, and pens and not participate in the group lesson.
Rules:
1. All dogs will be on leash or on a tie out at all times unless in the enclosed pen to work. Tie outs must be chew proof, cable or chain, I have several I can bring.
2. No dogs will be allowed to work stock in the open arena until they have proven skills in a small pen.
3. Any dogs that can not behave and become a distraction will be asked to leave, ZERO tolerance for fighting.
